Brand new Single from Peppery, his first release since Battlefield album in January 2017. However, there is a current trend on the international dancehall scene wherein some Producers are imprinting their moniker in highly visible fonts on the artwork of their projects, overshadowing that of the artist in some cases. Discussions about this trend keeps popping up on social media and ego seems to be the common denominator between artist and producer in some of these threads. It is understood however, that the producers who tend to apply this style of marketing are also DJs and are using this technique to promote themselves as such. Is this the way forward for international dancehall?
UK based reggae dancehall artist Peppery has a new single entitled So Futuristic and it’s probably the perfect soundtrack for this matter. Bazza Ranks from Dirty Dubsters links up with Jamaican born Peppery on this new dancehall cut in which Peppery sets his sights firmly to the future. Remixes come in a Jungle Style and Fashion from Greek badboy FLeCK. Bazza Ranks also adds an additional Dance/Garage mix for good measure. Exclusive to Juno Download from June 16th, available worldwide from June 23rd in time for Festival Season 2017.
